By train
The nearest station is Iwami Station on the JR San'in Main Line. It takes approximately 30 minutes to walk from Iwami Station to the venue, Uradome Beach.
A free shuttle bus is scheduled to operate from JR Iwami Station on the day of the fireworks festival. The ride takes approximately 5 minutes, followed by a convenient walk of about 1 minute from the town parking lot to the venue. Heavy crowds are expected, so we recommend setting out early.

By car
The venue is approximately 3 minutes by car from Uradome IC or approximately 5 minutes from Iwami IC on the San'in Kinki Expressway.
Approximately 1,000 free parking spaces will be available. The closest options are the Ogurihama Beach parking lot (approximately 100 spaces, about a 3-minute walk to the venue) and the first and second Uradome Beach parking lots (approximately 400 spaces, about an 8-minute walk to the venue).
However, extensive traffic restrictions will be imposed around the venue on the day of the event. In particular, the area around the Uradome No. 1 parking lot will be closed to vehicles from 19:00 to 21:00. The Uradome IC exit on the San'in Kinki Expressway may also be closed during certain periods, so check traffic restriction information in advance and allow plenty of extra time for your journey. Parking is limited and severe congestion is expected, so the use of public transportation is recommended.

Be careful of the last train home
The fireworks are scheduled to finish at around 20:30, but getting away from the venue and using the shuttle bus may take some time. Check the time of the last train from JR Iwami Station and be careful not to miss it.

Paid Seating and Tickets

The Uradome Coast Fireworks Festival generally does not offer paid seating for the general public. You can watch the fireworks for free from the expansive sandy beach.
However, the Uradome Coast sightseeing boat operates a special fireworks cruise that lets you enjoy the display from the water. This popular premium experience is available just once a year. • Viewpoints along the surrounding coastline There are several viewpoints along the Uradome Coast where you can watch the fireworks from above. In particular, locations on slightly elevated ground offer beautiful views of the fireworks reflected on the water.
• Toward Shirohara Beach The area toward Shirohara Beach, located west of Uradome Beach, is another spot where you can enjoy the fireworks away from the crowds. It is a little farther from the main venue, but it is recommended for those who want to watch the display in a more peaceful setting.
• Around Higashihama Beach The area around Higashihama Beach, farther to the east, is another good option. Although the sound of the fireworks reaches you a little later, you can enjoy the contrast between the beautiful coastline and the night sky.
