The castle visit for a group
Inuyama Castle is a compact hilltop keep. It is one of the few original castles in Japan and is designated a national treasure, which is exactly why groups like it: small, authentic, and done in ninety minutes including the climb.

- The keep is climbed by steep wooden stairs. Warn anyone with knee or balance issues; the view from the top is the reward but the climb is real.

What to arrange in advance:
- Boat reservations. Groups cannot turn up and expect seats on the viewing boats; book ahead and confirm operating days, as fishing does not run in bad weather or high water.
- Dinner logistics. Some groups eat on the boat, others eat before. Decide, because the timing of the coach depends on it.
