OlaChill announcements
New products, new regions, changes to booking rules. Newest first.
- Coming soon
OlaChill is preparing to launch Japan eSIM
Two product lines: a travel eSIM for stays up to 90 days, and monthly eSIM plans for foreign residents in Japan. Runs on the docomo 5G/4G network, no guarantor required, activated by QR code. Prices and plans are already viewable; the on-sale date will be announced here.
View - Expansion
OlaChill expands to Osaka and Nagoya
Beyond Tokyo, Kyoto and Hokkaido, the day-tour catalogue now includes 6 tours departing from Osaka and 2 from Nagoya. All are bookable directly on the site, confirmed by email, with a QR code for check-in at the meeting point.
View - Update
Seven-day advance booking dropped; 45 seats per departure
Tours previously required booking seven days ahead — a rule that also blocked departures with plenty of seats left. The condition is now simply availability: each departure takes up to 45 guests, and stays open while seats remain, including last-minute bookings.

Kimono rental officially launches in Kyoto and Tokyo
OlaChill's kimono and yukata rental is now officially taking bookings at stores in Kyoto and Tokyo, with more than 500 designs to choose from. Book online on the site: pick a plan and a branch, get email confirmation — then arrive, dress up and go sightseeing.
