Visitors can reach the Motosuko East Shore, the venue for the Motosuko Jinko Festival, by public transportation or car.

Public Transportation

The nearest train station is Kawaguchiko Station on the Fujikyu Line. From Kawaguchiko Station, take a local bus to the venue.

• Bus from Kawaguchiko Station: Take a Fujikyu bus bound for the Lake Motosuko area from Kawaguchiko Station and get off at the “Motosuko” bus stop. The venue is just a short walk from the bus stop. The journey takes approximately 50 minutes to 1 hour. On the day of the fireworks festival, bus services may be limited and traffic congestion is expected, so we recommend allowing plenty of time for travel.
• Be aware of the last train and bus: Buses bound for Kawaguchiko Station can be extremely crowded after the fireworks festival, and you may not make the last service. It is very important to check the bus timetable and the time of the last train departing from Kawaguchiko Station in advance.

By Car

From either the Kawaguchiko IC or Ichinomiya-Misaka IC on the Chuo Expressway, head toward Lake Motosuko via National Route 137, National Route 358, and other roads.

• Parking: There are several free and paid parking lots around the venue, but spaces are limited. As in previous years, they are expected to fill up early on the day of the fireworks festival.
• Traffic restrictions: Traffic restrictions may be introduced around the venue in connection with the fireworks festival. Check the latest traffic information in advance and consider possible detours. The roads in the area are especially congested after the event, so allow plenty of time when making your plans.

Although it is some distance from the venue, you may be able to enjoy a view of Mount Fuji together with the fireworks. Campground users may also be given priority here, so please take note.

Lakeside along National Route 300 Along National Route 300 (Motosu Road), which runs along the southern side of Lake Motosuko, there are several parking areas and places where you can access the lakeshore. Since these spots are a little farther from the venue, they may be less crowded, and you may be able to park your car and enjoy the fireworks at your leisure. However, please use these areas considerately and do not obstruct traffic.
