Mt. Fuji & Lake Kawaguchiko Autumn Day Tour — Oishi Park, Lakeside, Momiji Corridor

Meeting point: the Japanese flag 🇯🇵 in front of Tokyo Station's red brick building (Marunouchi side). Please arrive 30 minutes early — the coach leaves on time.

The north shore of Lake Kawaguchiko, and the one spot where Mt. Fuji, the lake and the red kochia mounds line up in a single frame. Walk towards the mountain, then bear slightly right for the widest view. Morning mist often sits on the water until about 10am.

A slower stretch along the water: red and gold leaves on the near bank, Mt. Fuji straight ahead, small boats crossing. Good light for photos before the middle of the day flattens it.

An hour to eat on your own. The local dish is hoto — flat wheat noodles simmered with pumpkin and vegetables in miso, served in the iron pot it was cooked in. Cafés and konbini are within walking distance too.

Old maples arch over a narrow canal for about 300 metres. At peak, mid-to-late November, there are food stalls along it and an autumn fair; the evening light-up runs until 22:00, though our coach leaves before dark.

The last hour is yours: souvenir shops and cafés near the station, or one more look at Mt. Fuji from the shore. Your guide will point out where to stand for the view if the cloud has lifted.

Back on the coach for the return leg.

Drop-off at the same Marunouchi meeting point. Arrival time shifts with traffic on the Chuo Expressway, especially on autumn weekends.
