Getting there

Roadside Station Doshi is most conveniently reached by car.

By car

  • Approximately 30 minutes, or 20 km, from Tsuru IC on the Chuo Expressway.
  • Approximately 50 minutes from Sagamihara IC on the Ken-O Expressway, via Fujino.
  • Approximately 35 minutes from Yamanakako IC on the Higashi-Fujigoko Road, via National Route 413.
  • Approximately 40 minutes from Sagamiko IC on the Chuo Expressway.
  • Approximately 50 minutes from Gotemba IC on the Tomei Expressway, via Lake Yamanaka.

Around 200 free parking spaces are provided at the venue, but heavy congestion is expected. The roadside station's car park fills before the fireworks begin, and National Route 413 also becomes busy with visitors, so early arrival is recommended.

By public transport The nearest station is Tsurushi Station on the Fujikyu Railway, but the venue is still approximately 30 minutes away by car. Reaching it solely by public transport is difficult, so consider a car or taxi.

Planning your return journey Since the fireworks finish at 20:00, visitors using public transport should check return bus and train services in advance and ensure they can catch the final departures.

Paid seating and tickets

No paid viewing seats are planned for the 2026 Suigen no Sato Doshi Clear Stream Fireworks. Watch for free from the grassy plaza at Roadside Station Doshi or nearby areas.

Lesser-known viewing spots

The grassy plaza is the main viewing area, but the following alternatives may suit visitors hoping for a quieter experience.

  1. Along National Route 413 near Roadside Station Doshi The immediate area around the roadside station becomes very crowded, but views of the fireworks may also be possible from a little farther along National Route 413. Parking some distance from the venue may make it easier to avoid congestion when leaving. Visibility and open sightlines vary, however, so arrive early to find an appropriate position.

  2. Open areas along the Doshi River The Niagara display stretching across the clear Doshi River is a major highlight. To enjoy the dreamlike reflections, look for a relatively open position along the river. Do not enter private property or prohibited areas, and watch from a safe location.

  3. Higher ground overlooking the Doshi Valley Doshi Village lies in a valley surrounded by nature. Higher ground a little farther from the venue may offer views of the whole display together with the village's nightscape. Specific viewpoints need to be identified locally, and some may be difficult to reach or have obstructed views. Advance reconnaissance and checking local information are therefore important.
