Getting There

Extensive traffic restrictions will be in place around the venue on the day of the fireworks, and severe congestion is expected. Public transportation is highly recommended.

• From JR Izumoshi Station: Take a bus, get off at the Otsu Elementary School-mae stop, and walk for approximately 10 minutes.
• From Ichibata Electric Railway's Kita-Matsue Line Otsumachi Station: Approximately 15 minutes on foot.

【Notes for Ichibata Electric Railway Passengers】 Ichibata Electric Railway may operate additional trains on the day of the fireworks. In addition, the municipal north station parking area, south station parking area, and municipal bicycle parking lot may be free of charge from 16:00 to 22:00 for visitors using Ichibata Electric Railway from Dentetsu-Izumoshi Station. Present your parking ticket at the special counter at Dentetsu-Izumoshi Station before boarding.

• From the Hikawa IC on the San-in Expressway: Approximately 10 to 15 minutes via National Route 9.

【Parking and Traffic Restrictions】 There are no temporary parking lots around the venue, so visitors are encouraged to come by public transportation or bicycle. Every year, traffic restrictions are imposed on Kandachi Bridge along National Route 184 and the surrounding area from 18:00 until around 22:30. Street parking is strictly prohibited, and visitors must follow the instructions of the police and security staff on the day.

At the 2026 Izumo Myth Festival Fireworks Display, paid viewing seats offering a more comfortable way to enjoy the fireworks are available as crowdfunding rewards.
