Using public transportation is recommended for getting to the Uradome Coast Genki Festival Iwami Fireworks Festival.

Access by Train
The nearest station is Iwami Station on the JR San'in Main Line. It takes approximately 30 minutes to walk from Iwami Station to the venue at Uradome Beach.
On the day of the fireworks festival, free shuttle buses will operate from JR Iwami Station. The shuttle bus takes approximately 5 minutes to reach the municipal parking lot, from which the venue is a 1-minute walk away. Shuttle bus boarding points are located at Iwami Station and around the Central Community Center.
Be sure to check the return shuttle bus schedule and the last train times in advance, and plan your movements with plenty of time to spare.

Access by Car
The venue is approximately 3 minutes by car from the Uradome Interchange on the San'in-Kinki Expressway, or approximately 5 minutes from the Iwami Interchange.
Approximately 1,000 free parking spaces are available, but severe congestion is expected on the day, so using public transportation is recommended.
Traffic restrictions will be in place around the venue, and the entire Uradome First Parking Lot area will be closed to vehicles from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. In addition, there will be times when the Uradome Interchange exit on the San'in-Kinki Expressway is closed, so it is important to check the traffic restriction map in advance.

Paid Seating and Tickets

However, the “Fireworks Sightseeing Cruise,” which allows you to watch the fireworks from the sea, will operate. • Observation decks along the surrounding coastline There are several observation decks along the Uradome Coast, offering panoramic views of the expansive Sea of Japan and the fireworks. These spots are particularly recommended for those who want to photograph the entire display from a little farther away.
• Toward Shirohara Beach The area toward Shirohara Beach, located east of the Uradome Coast, is another relatively quiet spot for viewing the fireworks. Since the coastline stretches on, part of the fun is finding your own ideal viewing position.
• Around Higashihama Beach The area around Higashihama Beach, farther to the east, is another lesser-known spot for the fireworks festival. Although it is some distance from the launch site, you can enjoy the fireworks in a more peaceful atmosphere as a result.
