Why Games weeks book up faster than a normal September

Demand. Between 19 September and 4 October, and again for the Asian Para Games from 18 to 24 October, coaches in Aichi are wanted by supporter groups, schools, corporate hospitality parties, media crews and delegations' followers, on top of the normal autumn tourism season. Fewer vehicles available for the same dates means a higher chance that your preferred vehicle class is gone.

Ways to bring the price down without wrecking the plan

Do not cut the buffer hours. A booking that ends exactly at the scheduled end of a session leaves no room for a medal ceremony or a slow exit, and overtime is rarely cheaper than planning the hour in the first place.

What to send for an accurate quote

A vague request gets a vague range. Send:

• Dates, one line per day
• Pickup point (hotel name and address) and time
• Venues with session times, or attractions with planned durations
• Headcount, including children
• Luggage or equipment: flags, drums, cases, wheelchairs
• Whether the coach should wait, standby or drop and return
• Latest acceptable return time
• Any second hotel or split group

With that, a reply within 24 hours is realistic and the quote will hold. Without it, expect follow-up questions.

Comparing against alternatives

Is a minibus much cheaper than a full-size coach?

A 29-seat bus is ¥69,000 for a 10-hour day against ¥99,000 for a 45-seat coach; we do not publish prices for 17 to 22-seat minibuses. The gap is smaller than people expect because the driver's time is the main cost, so right-size for the group and the luggage.

Can we book the coach for the evening only?

Yes. The standard package is a 10-hour day (¥69,000 / ¥99,000 / ¥129,000, extra hours ¥15,000); shorter jobs such as an evening-only return are quoted on request, so ask for the hours to be stated in the quote.

How early should we book for Games dates?

As early as your session tickets are confirmed. Demand from supporter groups, schools and corporate parties during 19 September to 4 October means late bookers get whatever vehicle is left.
