- Elevated areas around Okutama Station: There are several spots around Okutama Station with few buildings obstructing the view, allowing you to watch the fireworks from a relatively high vantage point. These areas are recommended for visitors who want to avoid the station crowds while still enjoying the powerful experience of being close to the launch site.
- Around Oku-Hikawa Shrine: The area around the Oku-Hikawa Shrine festival venue, held at the same time as the fireworks festival, is also suitable for viewing the fireworks. You can enjoy the festive atmosphere while watching the show.
- Around Hatonosu Gorge: Although it is a little farther from Okutama Station, the area around Hatonosu Gorge is a scenic spot surrounded by nature where you may be able to watch the fireworks in relative peace. However, because it is some distance from the venue, the fireworks may feel somewhat less powerful. We recommend checking the location in advance and confirming that you will have an unobstructed view.
