Access

Using public transportation is highly recommended to reach the venue. The area around the venue is expected to be extremely crowded on the day of the festival, so please allow ample time for your journey.

• Keisei Line Shibamata Station (京成線 柴又駅): Approximately 10 minutes walk after alighting. This is the closest station to the venue but is expected to be particularly crowded.
• JR Line Kanamachi Station (JR線 金町駅): Approximately 20 minutes walk after alighting. Convenient for access from central Tokyo and Chiba Prefecture. Cross National Route 6, walk along the Keisei Kanamachi Line (京成金町線), then turn left at the "Shibamata Taishakuten-mae" (柴又帝釈天前) intersection towards Old Kawajin Street.
• Hokuso Line Shin-Shibamata Station (北総線 新柴又駅): Approximately 15 minutes walk after alighting. This station tends to be relatively less crowded compared to Shibamata Station.

Detour Routes during Crowds and Return Journey Precautions: To avoid congestion, it is recommended to disperse your travel not only to Keisei Line Shibamata Station but also to Hokuso Line Shin-Shibamata Station and JR Kanamachi Station. The Keisei Kanamachi Line is scheduled to increase its service to every 10 minutes from around 5:00 PM on the day of the fireworks festival. Keisei Takasago Station (京成高砂駅) is also an option, though it's about a 30-minute walk, depending on the crowd situation.

After the fireworks festival ends, significant congestion is expected at each station, with entry restrictions likely to be implemented. Shibamata Station, in particular, has limited transport capacity, so consider using Shin-Shibamata Station or Kanamachi Station for your return journey. Please check the last train times in advance and plan your actions with plenty of time to spare.

Paid Seating and Tickets

For the 60th anniversary festival, paid seating is available to allow for more comfortable viewing of the fireworks. Paid seats must be purchased in advance.

The Katsushika Noryo Fireworks Festival is expected to be extremely crowded, so considering hidden gem spots is recommended for those who wish to watch in a more relaxed atmosphere.

1. Shibamata Park / Yamamototei Area Hilltop (柴又公園・山本亭周辺の高台) This is a popular free spot close to the launch venue. The sloped area to the left of the paid S1 area on the embankment is also close to the launch site, offering powerful fireworks views. However, as it's a popular location, early arrival for securing a spot is necessary.

2. Edogawa River Embankment near Shin-Shibamata Station (新柴又駅周辺の江戸川土手) Shin-Shibamata Station (新柴又駅) is relatively less crowded than Shibamata Station, and you can watch the fireworks from the Edogawa River Embankment (江戸川土手) near the station. While it's a bit further from the launch site, it's recommended for those who want to enjoy the fireworks while avoiding crowds. There are few convenience stores or supermarkets along the way, so purchase food and drinks in advance.

3. Riverbed on the Upstream Side of the Venue (Kanamachi Side) (会場上流側（金町寄り）の河川敷) The riverbed slightly upstream from the launch venue, towards Kanamachi (金町), is also considered a hidden gem. This is a free viewing area, but since the area directly in front of the launch site is reserved for paid seating and sponsors, you will need to find a spot in other available areas.

4. Near Yagiri Sports Park (Matsudo City, Chiba Prefecture Side) (矢切スポーツ広場付近（千葉県松戸市側）) There are places to view the fireworks from the opposite bank of the Edogawa River (江戸川) in Matsudo City (松戸市), Chiba Prefecture (千葉県). The area near Yagiri Sports Park (矢切スポーツ広場) is particularly recommended for families with children or those wishing to avoid crowds. However, for the 2026 festival, due to safety measures, the Edogawa Line Golf Matsudo Course (江戸川ラインゴルフ松戸コース) on the opposite bank and the Matsudo Side Levee Pathway (Cycling Road) (松戸側堤防上通路（サイクリングロード）) will be closed all day, so please be aware. If viewing from the Matsudo City side, Yagiri Station (矢切駅) is the closest station.
