Osaka Expo 2026 Site Reopens for Limited Tours

Walk-Through Access Through July 2026

The Osaka Expo 2026 site on Yumeshima Island has reopened for limited self-guided tours through July 31, 2026. Visitors can walk between roughly 20 of the 80 pavilions still standing — the inside exhibits are gone, but the architecture and outdoor installations remain accessible.

Tickets cost ¥1,500 for adults (¥750 for children) and must be booked online at least 48 hours in advance. The Osaka Metro Chuo Line extension that opened for the Expo runs to Yumeshima station, a 3-minute walk from the south entrance. Crowds are thin compared to last year's peak; weekday afternoons see less than 5,000 visitors.
