Best Hidden Viewing Spots

Because the Towada City Summer Festival Fireworks Display takes place in the city center, it can be enjoyed from a variety of locations. Here are 3 particularly recommended hidden viewing spots.

  1. Around Aeon Mall Towada Since this area is a little farther from the venue, it is ideal for anyone who wants to avoid the crowds and enjoy the fireworks at a leisurely pace. You can also shop and dine there, making it a convenient place to stop before or after watching the fireworks.

  2. Inaogawa Fureai Park This is a recommended spot for families and anyone who wants to watch the fireworks in a relaxed setting. It is a comfortable distance from the venue and offers a spacious area where you can unwind and enjoy the display.

  3. The area east of the launch site For those who want to feel the impact of the fireworks while avoiding some of the crowds at the main venue, the area east of the launch site is a good option. Depending on the wind direction, smoke may affect visibility, but you may be able to enjoy a nearly frontal view of the fireworks.

In addition to these hidden viewing spots, Government Office Street itself becomes a special pedestrian-only space where you can enjoy the fireworks alongside food stalls and art installations. It is a good idea to arrive early and find a viewing spot that suits you.
