Less-Crowded Viewing Spots

Here are several less-crowded spots for those who want to enjoy the fireworks while avoiding the worst of the congestion.

  • Mie Prefectural Daibutsuyama Park: Although it is approximately 4km from the launch site, its spacious grounds offer a relaxed place to watch the fireworks. The sound is less powerful than at the main venue, but it is especially recommended for families with young children. Since there is little lighting at night, bringing a flashlight is a good idea.
  • Around Mitasu Ise: The area around this large shopping center is known as a relatively relaxed place to watch the fireworks. Parking is also available, making it convenient for visitors arriving by car.
  • Ise-Shima Skyline: Although it is a toll road, you can look down on the fireworks from above while enjoying beautiful views of Ise-Shima. Since it is some distance from the launch site, it is recommended for those who want a panoramic view of the entire display.
  • Miyagawa Lovely River Park (left-bank side): Located a short distance from the venue on the left bank, this area may allow you to watch the fireworks while avoiding some of the crowds.
  • Embankment around Ise-Miyagawa Junior High School: The fireworks can also be seen from the embankment a short distance from the venue.

These less-crowded spots may also attract many people on the day, so arriving early to secure a good place is recommended.
