By Public Transportation
The nearest station is Kumanoshi Station on the JR Kisei Main Line. From Kumanoshi Station, the venue at Shichiri Mihama Beach is about a 5-minute walk: exit the ticket gates and continue straight along the road directly in front of you. Special JR trains may operate on the day of the fireworks festival, so please contact JR stations for the latest train schedules.
By Car
Roads around the venue become extremely congested on the day of the fireworks festival. In particular, general vehicles are restricted from using the outbound lanes of the Kumano-Owase Road (toward Wakayama) between Owase-Kita IC and Kumano-Odomari IC from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. You will need to use National Route 42 for this section. Parking lots around the venue are expected to fill up during the morning, and if you arrive in the afternoon or later, you may be directed to a parking lot more than 60 minutes on foot from the venue. If you are driving, we recommend arriving early in the morning. If you are using a parking lot in Kumano City, please help ease traffic congestion around the venue by entering the parking lot by 2 p.m. After the fireworks end, follow the instructions of police officers and traffic guides to return home safely.
