The honest summary: for a daytime session with a compact group near the station, take the train. For everything else, the coach is worth quoting.
Late finishes are the coach's case
Esports sessions can run into the evening. When they do, a group leaving the airport island faces the same problem as at any Games venue: trains run, crowds are heavy, and last trains are around midnight. With 40 km back to Nagoya, the margin for a missed connection is thin.
