Which one fits
The 75-minute scenic is the reference flight. It is the one most people mean when they ask about Fuji by helicopter, and it pairs the mountain with the Hakone area. For a couple or three friends marking the end of the Games, this is where to start.
The 90-minute deluxe adds Kamakura to the route and costs ¥126,700 more per person, or ¥342,100 more as a private charter. It suits people who want the coast as well as the mountain and do not want to feel the clock.
The 120-minute Grand Circuit is the only scenic flight with 4–5 seats, at ¥1,377,600 per person or ¥6,199,200 for the whole aircraft as a private charter. A family of four, or a small delegation group, can fly together rather than splitting into two cabins. It is also the longest flight we list.

Autumn and the view: an honest section
Everyone wants a cloud-free summit. We cannot promise one, and neither can anyone else.
Here is how to think about it during the Games period, which runs 19 September to 4 October, with the Asian Para Games following on 18 to 24 October:
- Typhoon season is not over in late September. A typhoon means cancellation, and that is covered by the policy below.
- Cloud on the summit can happen on an otherwise flyable day. If the operator flies, the flight has operated, whether or not the peak was clear at the moment you passed it.
- The morning is generally the calmer part of the day for mountain viewing, which is one reason early meeting times are popular. Check what slots are available for your date.
If the view matters more than the date, book early in your Tokyo stay and keep a fallback day. That gives you the option of using a free date change if the forecast turns.
The weather policy in plain words
- If the operator cancels for weather, you receive a full refund or a free change of date. Your choice.
- You can change the date yourself for free up to 4 days before the flight.
- Payment is taken online at booking.
- The time shown on the page is the meeting time. The flight departs roughly 30 minutes later.
What the policy does not do is refund a flight that operated under a partly cloudy sky. Ask us when booking if you want to talk through how this is handled on your date; we would rather have the conversation before you pay.
Seats and weight
The 3-seat flights have a 120 kg per-seat limit and a 220 kg cabin total. The 4-seat flights keep the 120 kg per-seat limit; the cabin total for 4 seats is stated on each product page, so check it against your group before booking.
Provide honest weights. The operator balances the aircraft by seat, and discovering at the weigh-in that a group does not fit is avoidable with two minutes of honesty at booking.
Reaching the Fuji region from Nagoya
Nagoya to Tokyo is about 1 hour 40 minutes by Nozomi. From Tokyo you reach the Fuji region meeting point by road or rail, or by the heli taxi described above. Exact meeting locations are on each product page; do not assume they are the same as the Tokyo Heliport at Shin-Kiba, because Fuji flights depart from the Fuji region.
If you want a car with a driver from your Tokyo hotel to the meeting point and back, ask when you book. That is arranged as a chauffeur booking, priced by the hour and separate from the flight.
Fitting it around the Games
A common shape for spectators:
- Games sessions in Nagoya, finishing with the closing ceremony on 4 October.
- Shinkansen to Tokyo on 5 October, overnight.
- Fuji flight on the morning of 6 October, with 7 October kept free as a weather fallback.
- Fly home from Tokyo.
Reverse it if you arrive in Tokyo before the Games open on 19 September. Either way, do not put the flight on the same day as a Shinkansen journey unless the meeting time is late and you are comfortable with the margin.

Can I fly to Mt Fuji from Nagoya?
No. Our Fuji flights depart from the Mt Fuji region, and we have no Nagoya-based helicopter product. Most visitors come via Tokyo, about 1 hour 40 minutes from Nagoya on the Shinkansen.
What if Fuji is hidden by cloud on the day?
If the operator cancels for weather, you get a full refund or a free date change. If the flight operates and the summit is partly cloudy, the flight counts as flown. Keep a spare day in your plan if a clear view is essential.
