How to board

1. Board at the Hotel Exit (also called the Shopping Plaza Exit) of Karuizawa Prince Hotel West, 1016-87 Karuizawa, Karuizawa-machi, Kitasaku-gun, Nagano.
2. If you are on bus 164, you can also board earlier at the Karuizawa Prince Hotel Ski Area; buses 102 and 154 pick up at Prince Hotel West only.
3. You do not need to be a hotel guest to use the hotel stop; just show your booking details to the hotel staff.
4. After booking, look out for two separate e-mails, the booking confirmation and your boarding QR code, and check your spam folder if either is missing.
5. Have the QR code ready and show it when you board the bus.
6. At Narita the bus stops at Terminal 3, then Terminal 2, then Terminal 1, so get off at the terminal your airline uses.

Good to know

• Each ticket is one way and valid only on the travel date you book.
• Children aged 6 to 11 (primary school pupils) travel on a child ticket at half the adult fare; children aged 5 and under ride free on an adult's lap, but need a child ticket if they take their own seat.
• You can book up to 10 passengers at a time, and an e-mail address is required.
• Bookings close at noon the day before travel, and the booking is confirmed by e-mail.
• The fare covers your ride on an air-conditioned coach, and most buses have a restroom on board.
• Some buses have fold-down auxiliary seats; depending on bookings you may be given one, and no refund is made in that case.
• Smoking is not allowed on board, and please keep conversations quiet.
• Arrival times vary with traffic, and timetables and fares can change without notice, so leave extra time before a flight.

Cancellation & changes

• Cancel free of charge until 6 pm seven days before your travel date.
• From 6 pm seven days before travel, the cancellation fee is 30% of the booking.
• From 6 pm three days before travel, the fee rises to 50% of the booking.
• On the travel date itself the fee is 100%, so nothing is refunded.
