How to board

1. At New Chitose Airport, go to the Domestic Tour Desk in the 1F arrival lobby of the Domestic Terminal at least 15 minutes before departure.
2. In Sapporo, wait in the 1F lobby of New Otani Inn Sapporo (Kita 2-jo Nishi 1-chome, Chuo-ku) at least 10 minutes before departure.
3. Book the exact stop you will use, because the bus only calls at pick-up and drop-off points that have a reservation.
4. Coming off a flight, allow at least 45 minutes after a domestic arrival or 90 minutes after an international arrival before the bus leaves.
5. Check the departure and arrival times on your route card, and confirm your meeting point before the travel date.
6. Be at the meeting point on time: the bus does not wait, and late passengers are treated as no-shows without notice.

Good to know

• Each ticket is one way, from the airport or Sapporo to Tomamu, and is valid only on the date you book.
• Bookings close at 11 pm Japan time nine days before your travel date, and are confirmed as soon as you book.
• Children aged 2 and under ride free without a seat of their own; ages 3–11 need a Child ticket, and passengers aged 12 and over need an Adult ticket.
• You can book up to 10 passengers at a time.
• Depending on how many people have booked, the trip may run by taxi instead of bus.
• Seating is unreserved, although a seat may be assigned when the bus is full. Wear your seatbelt; smoking is not allowed on board, and passengers are asked not to make phone calls.
• If a delayed or cancelled flight makes you miss the bus, you may be moved to the next available bus (possibly the following day) or offered other transport, and any extra cost is yours.
• Bad weather or road conditions can delay or cancel the service; no refund is given in that case, and any other transport you are offered is at your own cost.

Cancellation & changes

• Cancellation is free if you cancel 8 or more days before your travel date.
• Cancelling 7 to 2 days before travel costs 30% of the booking, and cancelling the day before costs 40%.
• Cancelling on the travel date itself costs 100%.
• The fee depends on when your request is received, counted on the operator's business days and during its business hours.
