Osaka helicopter tours
13 flights · from ¥46,700
Osaka is the cheapest place in our range to try a helicopter: the 4- and 7-minute flights are just long enough to take off, see the bay and come back — right for first-timers and for small children. The 10–15 minute flights circle Umeda, the castle and the landmarks; 18–20 minutes reach further to Tsutenkaku, USJ or the Mozu tumuli, keyhole-shaped mounds whose shape only shows from above. Four night flights run 7–15 minutes. Every flight is a three-seat helicopter with only your party on board. The departure pad in the Osaka area is confirmed together with your date and stated in the booking email.
Frequently asked questions
- What are the seat and weight limits?
- Each seat takes up to 120 kg; total passenger weight is capped at 220 kg on a three-seat helicopter and 330 kg on a five-seat one. The pilot balances the aircraft with exactly these numbers, so we ask for every passenger's real weight at booking. A few kilos understated and the flight is cancelled at the pad.
- What happens if the weather is bad?
- The weather decides the flight, and the decision reaches your inbox at a fixed hour: departures between 09:00 and 12:00 are settled by 18:00 the evening before; from 12:30 by 10:00 on the day; from 16:30 by 15:00 on the day. If weather cancels the flight you choose a full refund or a free move to another date.
