Public transportation is recommended for getting to Oike Park, the venue for the Tokai Festival Fireworks Display.

By Train Meitetsu Tokoname Line’s Otagawa Station is the nearest station. It takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes to walk from Otagawa Station’s south ticket gate to Oike Park.

The area around the station and the roads leading to the venue become extremely crowded on the day of the fireworks display, so allow plenty of time for your journey. Trains are also expected to be crowded on the way home, so be sure to check the time of the last train. Near Otagawa Station is the commercial facility Raspa Otagawa, which becomes lively with food stalls and other attractions during the festival.

By Car There is no free parking available. All temporary parking areas are paid parking lots that require advance reservations. Parking spaces are limited and fill up quickly, so using public transportation whenever possible is strongly recommended.

Reservations for temporary parking are made through the dedicated reservation website akippa. You must register as an akippa member (free of charge) to use the service. Parking is available from 15:00 to 22:00.

Traffic restrictions will be in effect around the venue from around 18:00 to 22:00, and some roads will be pedestrian-only.

The 57th Tokai Festival Fireworks Display will offer paid viewing areas where visitors can enjoy the fireworks comfortably from prime locations.

Sales Period From 2026 July 1 (Wednesday) 10:00 to 2026 August 6 (Thursday) 23:59 (first come, first served) ※If tickets do not sell out during the sales period, same-day tickets are scheduled to go on sale near the baseball field from 15:00 (sales end when sold out).

Types and Prices of Paid Seating

• Observation Deck Seats: ¥16,000
  • 9 pairs of seats are available, on a limited basis.
  • These reclining seats include 1 drink per person and a vinyl umbrella.
  • Preschool-aged children are not permitted to enter.
• Baseball Field Seats: ¥6,500
  • 924 spaces measuring 2m×2m will be available.
  • Leisure sheets (1.8m×1.8m) will be provided, but bring your own ground sheet if needed.
  • Up to 4 people may enter per seat (preschool-aged children are not included in the count).
  • Some blocks have black soil, so please check when purchasing.
  • Folding chairs, tents, tripods for photography, and similar items are prohibited as they may inconvenience other guests.
  • A designated wheelchair area is also available.
  • All areas inside the baseball field are paid seating, and general viewing is not permitted.

2. Otagawa Riverbank The Otagawa riverbank, a short distance from Oike Park, is a relatively quiet hidden spot where you can watch the fireworks at a more relaxed pace. Finding a place to sit may be difficult, but it is recommended for those who are happy to watch while standing.

3. Rooftop Parking Lot at Apita Tokai Arao The rooftop parking lot of this commercial facility is a popular hidden spot where you can look down on the fireworks from above. Its elevated position offers a broad view of the display as it spreads across the sky. However, it becomes extremely crowded on the day of the event, and parking access may be restricted, so arriving early is essential.

4. Donden Hiroba (in Front of Otagawa Station) Donden Hiroba, located in front of Meitetsu Otagawa Station, is a lively area filled with food stalls and other attractions on the day of the fireworks display. The fireworks themselves are also clearly visible, making it a good choice for anyone who wants to enjoy the festival atmosphere while staying cool.

5. Slope at Shiawase no Mura There are reports that the fireworks can also be seen from the slope at Tokai City Shiawase no Mura. Since it is some distance from the venue, it may be a good option for those who want to avoid the crowds and enjoy the fireworks at a leisurely pace.
