About this experience
Two hours from the waterfront at Shinkiba across the Rainbow Bridge, with the bay on both sides, into the city to Tokyo Tower and back. The longest drive of the Tokyo routes; the bridge section feels like a fast road even though the route keeps off expressways.
Rainbow Bridge crosses Tokyo Bay between Shibaura and Odaiba, and from its deck you see the water on both sides and the city skyline ahead. Most people cross it by train or car; here you cross it in an open kart.
The route starts at the waterfront in Shinkiba, runs toward the bay and over the bridge, then continues into Minato to Tokyo Tower before returning along the bay. At two hours it is the longest Tokyo drive. The bridge is a long straight with wind off the water, so the guide briefs the group before you reach it, and the route keeps off expressways.
