Getting There

Visitors are encouraged to use public transportation to reach the Tamano Festival venues.

By train

• From JR Okayama Station, take the JR Uno Line for approximately 50 minutes and get off at Uno Station.
• From Uno Station, it is approximately a 15-minute walk to the dance competition venue at West Odori, Tamano City Hall.
• The fireworks venue at Uno Port No. 1 Pier is especially convenient, just a 5–10-minute walk from Uno Station.

By car

• The drive takes approximately 35–40 minutes from the Kojima IC on the Seto-Chuo Expressway.
• Traffic restrictions: Traffic restrictions will be put in place around the venues during the festival. On the day of the dance competition, traffic restrictions and voluntary restrictions will be implemented on surrounding roads from 17:30–22:00, and on the day of the fireworks festival from 17:00–21:00. Please plan accordingly.
• Parking: Tamano Velodrome can be used free of charge as a temporary parking area, but no shuttle bus service is provided. The Tamano Elementary School grounds are also available free of charge as temporary parking for the dance competition, but they cannot be used in rainy weather. Nearby parking lots are likely to fill up early, so public transportation is recommended.

Be mindful of the last train home JR Uno Station is expected to be extremely crowded after the fireworks festival. Visitors coming from farther away, in particular, should check their return train times in advance and allow plenty of time for their journey.

Paid Seating and Tickets

For the 2026 fireworks festival, a paid viewing area will be set up within Uno Port No. 1 Pier. It is recommended for visitors who want to enjoy the fireworks in greater comfort.

• ST Premium Seats: 24,000 yen (includes table and chairs, limited to 36 seats)
• ST Seats: 18,000 yen (includes table and chairs, limited to 234 seats)

• Online sales for ST Premium Seats and ST Seats begin at 10:00 on June 15, 2026, and close on Tuesday, July 21. Sales will end once capacity is reached.
• Wristbands for the A Area will be sold from Wednesday, June 24, 2026, through Thursday, July 30. Sales locations include Mitsui Coop Head Office Store, Shopping Mall Merka Happy Counter, Megane no Yūhi Merka Store, Tamabara Drug, Hair Salon Shibata, Nakaya Sōgi Uno Store and Shōnai Store, Milk Parlor Confectionery Store, Sanyu Denki, Yamada Kaishindo Yahata Main Store, Miyake Kaden, the Tamano City Tourism Association, the Tamano Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and other locations.
• Same-day tickets will be sold at the ticket center at the venue.
• Setouchi Onsen Tamano-no-Yu Campground will also offer a special paid viewing plan featuring “drive-in seats,” allowing visitors to comfortably enjoy the fireworks from their vehicles.

• Tai Port area: The Tai Port area, located a little east of Uno Port, is also considered a hidden spot for viewing the fireworks. It is some distance from the launch site but is recommended for those who prefer a quieter experience.
• Around Tamano Velodrome: The area around Tamano Velodrome, which is also used as temporary parking, is known as a spot where the fireworks can be seen. You can enjoy the fireworks while using the area as a parking facility.
• Around Bizen-Tai Station: The area around JR Bizen-Tai Station is another lesser-known fireworks viewing spot. Consider it if you want to avoid the crowds around Uno Station.
