The venues cap how many people are inside at once so the installations stay walkable. That cap is why popular slots disappear days ahead.
Is there English signage?
At the major venues, yes. Smaller regional museums are often Japanese-only, though the exhibits are usually visual enough to follow.
Can I bring a camera?
Digital art venues encourage photography. Traditional museums frequently prohibit it, especially for loaned exhibits.
