“Museum Collection Exhibition” features displays drawn from the museum’s own holdings and deposited materials.
The Orient—where Africa, Europe, and Asia intersect—has long been a crossroads of diverse cultures, shaping human history in profound ways.
By viewing the artifacts and works of art left behind by the ancient Orient, visitors can feel the presence and vitality of ancient peoples more closely.
As an accompanying exhibition, “Close-Up Exhibition: Kish – Exploring the Ancient Mesopotamian City Ruins” will be held from February 14 (Sat), 2026 to March 29 (Sun), 2026.
Additionally, from January 4 (Sun), 2026 to February 3 (Tue), 2026, a special corner display will introduce materials related to horses, in connection with the zodiac animal of the New Year.

Required reading
- The "QR code" issued after the booking is required when admission. Please bring a device that can display the "QR code" or print out the "QR code." *If you cannot display the QR code, you cannot enter the museum.
Restrictions
- The “Youth” ticket applies to high school and university students. The “Child” ticket applies to elementary and junior high school students. “Infant” refers to children who have not yet entered elementary school.
