Enoshima Dentetsu is a tram line connecting Fujisawa and Kamakura. It passes through most of Kamakura’s famous attractions and offers views of the beautiful Shonan Coast. Please make sure to stay close to the tour guide on the way to board the tram. The itinerary may be adjusted based on the number of participants or weather conditions on the day, with stops at only selected attractions.
Kamakura High School is located in Kamakura City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, and it is the prototype of Ryonan High School in the anime Slam Dunk . Drive-by view of the Shonan Coast (not included in the itinerary, drive-by only)
During the Edo period, Enoshima had already become one of the tourist attractions for people in Edo (now Tokyo), and it gained great fame due to the legend of the evil dragon and the fairy. The Enoshima Shrine is also enshrined on the island.
Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine was the central faith and patron deity of samurai during the Kamakura Shogunate period (1192). It has also been awarded one star in the Michelin Green Guide. Komachi-dori Street is a quite famous and bustling old street in Kamakura, with many shops lining both sides of the street.
