Share:FacebookXLINE

Highlights

  • 12-day · 29 stops on a fully hour-by-hour itinerary
  • Visit Airport pick-up + Shinjuku evening and other curated stops

Twelve days from Tokyo to Osaka the long way round — through the Japan Alps. Three days in Tokyo balance Meiji Jingu and Senso-ji with Tsukiji, a sushi class and teamLab; then Lake Kawaguchi puts Mt Fuji on the horizon and an onsen ryokan under it. The route crosses to Matsumoto's black castle, slows down for two days in Takayama's wooden old town and the gassho farmhouses of Hida, and pauses in Kanazawa for Kenroku-en garden. Three full Kyoto days — Gion, the Golden Pavilion, Arashiyama, Nijo Castle, Kiyomizu-dera — lead through Fushimi Inari and Nara's Great Buddha to a neon finale in Dotonbori. Private guide and transfers throughout.
