07:30Meet and depart from Tokyo Station
The guide checks the list and the coach leaves for the ski area.
12:00Ski, snowboard or just play in the snow· 240 min
Four hours at the resort, however you want to spend them: ski, snowboard, play in the snow and take photos, or sit in the lodge with a coffee. Lift passes and all rental — skis, board, clothing, boots — are not included.
17:30Hotel check-in — dinner on your own
Check in and rest. Standard room for two. Dinner is not included.
Day 2
08:00Check out and set off
Leave the hotel for Takayama.
09:00Takayama old town· 90 min
Ninety minutes on foot through Sanmachi Suji — dark timber merchant houses from the Edo period, sake breweries with a cedar ball over the door, and Hida beef on a skewer for a few hundred yen.
11:30Shirakawa-go under snow· 150 min
Two and a half hours in the gassho-zukuri village, a UNESCO site that gets some of the heaviest snow in Japan — the steep thatched roofs exist because of it. Walk the lanes, look inside a farmhouse, eat, and climb to the Shiroyama viewpoint if the path is open.
14:15Depart for Tokyo
Back on the coach, with a service-area stop on the way.
20:00Back at Tokyo Station
Drop-off at the same Marunouchi point, usually between 20:00 and 21:00. Winter roads make this the least predictable part of the trip.
