Panoramic Tokyo Day Tour — Meiji Shrine, Imperial Palace, Asakusa & Skytree (lunch included)

Meeting point: the Japanese flag 🇯🇵 in front of Tokyo Station's red brick building (Marunouchi side). Please arrive 30 minutes before departure — the bus leaves right on time.

Walk the gravel path under giant torii gates into a 100-year-old forest in the middle of the city — Tokyo's most important Shinto shrine, dedicated to Emperor Meiji, with rows of decorated sake barrels along the way.

Stroll the pine-dotted lawns of Kokyo Gaien, the great plaza in front of the Imperial Palace, and take the classic photo of the Nijubashi double bridge over the moat — the residence of Japan's Imperial family since 1868.

The coach crosses the Rainbow Bridge with Tokyo Bay spread out below, then stops at Odaiba Marine Park: a seaside promenade with the bay-front skyline, the little Statue of Liberty and the Fuji TV building in one view.

Sit-down break with an international buffet lunch at a hotel restaurant — included in the tour price, with Japanese and Western dishes to recharge for the afternoon.

Tokyo's oldest temple: pass the huge red lantern of Kaminarimon gate, browse the century-old snack and souvenir stalls of Nakamise street, and reach the incense-wreathed main hall founded in the 7th century.

Ride up to the Tembo Deck of Japan's tallest tower, 350 metres above the city: a 360° panorama across the endless Tokyo skyline, with Mt. Fuji on the horizon on clear days. Admission is included in the tour price.
