Ride the Fuji Subaru Line halfway up the mountain to the 5th Station at about 2,300m, standing above the clouds beside the summit cone. If the mountain road is closed by weather, the tour visits the 4th Station, the Mt. Fuji World Heritage Center or the spring-water village of Oshino Hakkai instead.

About 70 minutes of free time at Arakurayama Sengen Park: a 20-minute walk and roughly 400 steps lead up to the five-storey Chureito Pagoda, where — weather permitting — Mt. Fuji rises beyond the vermilion roof in Japan's most famous single frame.
