Taketoritei Maruyama

Taketoritei Maruyama stands on the slope above Arima Onsen, about ten minutes' walk from the old town, with views toward Sanda and the Kobe mountains. Its 30 rooms range from standard tatami rooms to suites with indoor or open-air silver-spring baths. There are no public baths; instead guests share eight private baths, four open-air and four indoor, filled with Arima's iron-rich gold spring and clear silver spring, free and first come first served. Meals are served in private dining rooms, but the inn has announced that dinner ends on 30 December 2026 and it will run breakfast-only from 2027.
