Overview

Nakanobo Zuien traces itself to Nakanobo, one of twelve lodgings said to have been built at Arima to guard the Yakushi Buddha. It admits guests aged 13 and over only. Its large baths use Arima's iron-rich Kinsen, and a free private bath uses Ginsen radon water; several suites and Japanese or Western rooms have their own Kinsen or Ginsen open-air bath. Thirteen room types range from 27 m² single rooms to a 138 m² suite with a tea room. Guests choose where to eat, in the room, a private dining room, the Inano restaurant or a chef's counter, and between kaiseki courses using produce from Hyogo's five provinces.
