Senkyoro

Senkyoro has operated in Sengokuhara since 1870 and sits in a garden of about 15,000 tsubo with its own walking path. Its milky-white, strongly acidic water flows by gravity from Owakudani and fills the 24-hour indoor bath, an open-air bath facing the Hakone outer rim, two private open-air baths and the open-air tubs of selected rooms. The Oku-no-Kigi annex offers six wooden villas, each with a private open-air hot spring. Dinner is a monthly-changing kaiseki of 12-13 courses, served in the room or in the dining hall depending on the plan. The inn offers family and baby-friendly plans, a ceramics studio and a Senkyoro-mae bus stop at its gate.
