Overview
Gora Kadan occupies the site of the former summer villa of Prince Kan'in, built in 1930 within the national park and three minutes on foot from Gora Station. The old villa building now houses the kaiseki restaurant, which also serves guests of the detached Meigetsu and Senshin suites. The inn's own alkaline simple-spring source feeds indoor and outdoor gender-separated baths with saunas and a free-flowing private open-air bath for two or three. Some rooms have their own open-air stone bath. Facilities include a heated indoor pool, fitness room, bedrock bath and KADAN SPA treatment rooms.
