Overview
Kamenoi Besso sits beside Lake Kinrin at the quiet upper end of Yufuin, about five minutes by taxi from JR Yufuin Station. Within about 33,000 square metres of garden are eleven detached houses and six Western-style rooms in the main building. Water from the inn's own spring flows into the bath of every room, and eight of the detached houses have an outdoor tub. Guests in the houses are served kaiseki dinner and breakfast in their room; main-building guests eat in the restaurant. The grounds also hold a country-style restaurant, a café in a relocated Edo-period sake brewery, a bar and a craft shop.
