Getting There

The Mikkabi Fireworks Festival can be reached by both public transportation and car. Extensive traffic restrictions will be in place around the venue on the day of the event, and severe congestion is expected, so using public transportation is recommended.

By train The venue is approximately a 15-minute walk from Mikkabi Station on the Tenryu Hamanako Railroad. The station is expected to be extremely crowded after the fireworks, so consider purchasing your return ticket in advance or using an IC card to make boarding as smooth as possible. Be sure to check the time of the last train as well.

By bus From Hamamatsu Station, take the Entetsu Bus bound for “40 Seirei Mikatahara, Kiga, Mikkabi” and get off at the Ushi bus stop. The journey takes approximately 80 minutes.

By car The venue is approximately 10 minutes west of the Tomei Expressway’s Mikkabi IC. Approximately 1,000 parking spaces will be available around the venue, some of which are paid (around ¥2,000 or ¥1,000), and reserved parking is also available. Parking can be found at the Mikkabi Junior High School athletic field, Mikkabi Athletic Field, the Hamamatsu Mikkabi Branch Office parking lot (reservations only), the JA Mikkabi South Parking Lot, and other locations. However, traffic restrictions will be in place around the venue on the day of the event. Traffic heading to the venue is expected to peak particularly between 15:00 and around 18:00, while congestion on the way home is expected after the fireworks. Please allow plenty of time for your journey.

Paid Seating and Tickets

Paid seating is available at the Mikkabi Fireworks Festival for a more comfortable viewing experience. Seating is set up at the main venue, the Mikkabi Junior High School athletic field, and tickets are sold as sponsorship tickets.
