Located in an open area near the Tone River, the park offers plenty of space for viewing the fireworks. The program is scheduled to include performances synchronized with music and fireworks, as well as a collaboration with drones, making it full of highlights.
Access
By Train
The nearest station is Numata Station on the JR Joetsu Line. It takes approximately 20 to 25 minutes to walk from Numata Station to Numata City Sports Park. The area around the station and the roads leading to the venue are expected to be crowded on the day, so allow plenty of time for your journey.
By Car
The venue is approximately 15 minutes by car from the Numata IC on the Kan-Etsu Expressway, or approximately 5 minutes from the Tsukiyono IC.
Free temporary parking lots are expected to be available, but spaces are limited, and some lots may require advance reservations. If you plan to use a parking lot that does not require a reservation, arriving early is recommended.
Traffic restrictions are typically in place around the venue from around 18:00 to 21:00. Some sections of the National Route 17 bypass will also be closed, so checking an alternative route in advance is recommended. Please do not stand and watch from within the restricted traffic areas.

The Numata Festival Fireworks offers reserved viewing areas where visitors can enjoy the display in comfort. For 2026, there are three types of reserved seating: table seats, chair seats, and photographer seats. Sales began on 2026年6月1日. Hidden Viewing Spots
In addition to Numata City Sports Park, there are several lesser-known spots where you may be able to watch the fireworks. - The opposite bank of the Tone River The area across the river from the venue is another potential spot for viewing the fireworks.
- Shogakuji Temple(Kajimachi) The fireworks may be visible from certain locations.
- Jizo Onsen Yuni~iku This is a unique hidden spot where you may be able to watch the fireworks from a hot spring facility.
