Visitors are encouraged to use public transportation when traveling to the Kazahaya Sea Festival.

By train The venue is a very convenient approximately 10-minute walk from Iyo-Hojo Station on the JR Yosan Line. The area around the station is expected to be crowded on the day of the fireworks, so allow plenty of time for your journey. Be sure to check the time of the last train home in advance as well.

By car From the Matsuyama Interchange on the Matsuyama Expressway, take National Route 196 toward Hojo Port. The drive is approximately 25km and takes about 25 minutes. Approximately 300 free parking spaces are scheduled to be available near the venue, although some paid parking lots are also available. However, there is no parking at the viewing area itself, so you will need to use designated parking lots nearby. In previous years, temporary parking has been available at places such as A Coop Hatomart Hojo, the Hojo Branch of Matsuyama City Hall, and Dotenai Port. Traffic restrictions will be in effect around the venue from 16:00 until around 22:00 on the day of the event, and some areas will be closed to vehicles. To avoid the crowds, arriving early or using public transportation is the wisest option.

Reserved Seating and Tickets

The Kazahaya Sea Festival offers reserved seating where visitors can enjoy the fireworks in comfort.

Types and approximate prices Reserved seating primarily consists of tables that seat 4 people. Advance tickets are sold for 7,000円 per table, while same-day tickets cost 8,000円. For groups of more than 4 people, chairs can also be rented (1 chair for 2 people: 3,000円). Tickets are sold at the Hojo Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with sales typically beginning around July 1. As these seats are popular, purchasing your tickets early is recommended.

2. Around Seapa MAKOTO The fireworks can be viewed from a distance around the hot spring facility Seapa MAKOTO. It is a somewhat indulgent hidden spot where you can enjoy both the hot springs and the fireworks.
