Shuhokaku Kogetsu

Kogetsu stands on the north shore of Lake Kawaguchi, so Fuji rises directly across the lake from all rooms, the lobby lounge and the men's and women's open-air baths. Standard rooms are 12.5-tatami Japanese rooms with a window-side veranda; upper-floor rooms add onsen foot baths or private open-air baths, and two private open-air baths can be booked on arrival. Dinner is a seasonal kaiseki served in the room for parties of two or three, or in private dining rooms for larger parties; breakfast is a buffet. A foot-bath terrace and lounge serve free drinks, including Yamanashi wine, in the afternoon.
