Kasuitei Ooya

Kasuitei Ooya has faced Lake Kawaguchi since 1923 and sits a 10-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Station. Rooms look either over the lake, towards Mt Fuji beyond the town, or inward; some lake-side rooms have their own hinoki or Shigaraki-ware open-air tub. The onsen is a calcium-sodium sulfate-chloride spring served in a basement bath with sauna and in a 7th-floor view bath, plus a bookable private view bath. Dinner is kaiseki, with a hoto-noodle course option, served in the room for 2-4 guests or in private dining rooms. Large banquet halls make it workable for groups.
