Dai-ichi Takimotokan

Dai-ichi Takimotokan stands at the foot of Jigokudani, the steaming crater valley that feeds Noboribetsu Onsen. Its separate bath building covers about 1,500 tsubo and brings five different spring types, from strongly acidic sulfur to sodium bicarbonate, into 35 tubs with open-air baths, saunas and a swimsuit pool. Four guest wings hold Japanese, Western and Japanese-Western rooms, dog-friendly rooms, a universal room and two premium types with private open-air onsen tubs. Dinner is a Hokkaido buffet or seasonal kaiseki, served in the room in the main wing or in semi-private dining. Banquet and meeting halls handle groups.
