Yunoshimakan

Yunoshimakan stands in about 165,000 square metres of old cedar and cypress forest on a hill above Gero, reached by the inn's shuttle bus from JR Gero Station. It opened in 1931, and its three-storey wooden main building, entrance and glazed corridor are registered tangible cultural properties; an Art Deco annex holds a dance hall and meeting room. Rooms range from historic sukiya rooms without baths to annex rooms with private open-air baths and Keizanso rooms with view baths, all fed with source water. Dinners feature Hida beef and river fish, served in private dining rooms or in the room. A 150-person banquet hall suits groups.
