About this experience

Five hours, or seven, with a 7-seat car and a driver for your group alone, starting at your hotel door. Walk Senso-ji and Nakamise-dori in the morning, stop for Tokyo Skytree across the Sumida River, stroll the red-brick front of Tokyo Station and the Imperial Palace moat, then finish in Ginza, or add Meiji Jingu and Shibuya on the seven-hour option. No train changes and no navigating; one price for the car, whether you are two or six.

Asakusa, Skytree, Tokyo Station, the Imperial Palace and Ginza sit on three different sides of central Tokyo. By train, a good part of the morning goes on changing lines and walking between stations; with a private car that time is spent standing where you actually wanted to be.

The driver meets you in the hotel lobby and heads to Asakusa first, while Senso-ji is still quiet, leaving about an hour for the Kaminarimon gate and Nakamise-dori. The car stops by the Sumida River for Tokyo Skytree, then crosses to Marunouchi, where the 1914 red-brick front of Tokyo Station and the stone moat of the Imperial Palace are a short walk apart.

The last stretch is Ginza. You walk the shopping avenues or have lunch, and the car then takes everyone back to the hotel or to another stop in the centre. The order can change; the car is your group's for the whole booking, and the seven-hour option adds Meiji Jingu and Shibuya.

The driver drives and does not give commentary, and admission, meals, expressway tolls and parking are not in the price. It is one price for the car up to six guests, so the more of you there are, the less each person pays.
