Trains in Japan are fast, but with two children, a stroller and three suitcases every transfer becomes a small expedition. With a day hire the Alphard picks you up at the hotel and stays with you: a theme park in the morning, a slow lunch, an onsen town in the afternoon and back to the lobby before bedtime. The price is per car, not per head, so the grandparents ride along at no extra charge as long as everyone fits.

Can we change the plan during the day?
Yes. The car and driver are yours for up to 10 hours, so you can add a stop or skip one as the day goes. Expressway tolls and parking are billed separately.
What if a child falls ill and we have to cancel?
Cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before pickup and you get a full refund. Within 24 hours, or if nobody shows up, the day is charged in full.
