About this experience

A genuine ozashiki in a private room in Kyoto's hanamachi: real geiko and maiko pour, dance, play the parlour games and talk with you through an interpreter, over a multi-course kaiseki dinner. Kyoto's teahouses keep the introduction-only custom — OlaChill is inside that door through an existing relationship, which is why the booking platforms cannot sell this. These are working artists, not costumed performers.

   Collected, and briefed on a few room customs before going in
3. 18:30
   Into the private room, kaiseki service begins
4. 19:15
   Geiko and maiko enter — dance, pouring, parlour games
5. 20:30
   Conversation through the interpreter, photos if the teahouse allows
6. 21:00
   Farewell, and back to your hotel
7. The tour ends at the final stop, always a few minutes' walk from a train station. Want to keep going? Your guide will point you somewhere good nearby.
