Enjoy wearing a kimono without any preparation. Put on a high-quality kimono and stroll around Asakusa.
✅ What's included
- Kimono set rental (kimono, underskirt, underwear, koshi himo belt, kimono obi, kimono neckpiece, tabi socks, drawstring bag/pouch, Japanese sandals)
Required reading
- Please return the kimono by 18:00 on the day of the activity.
- Sufficient time is required for preparation and dressing. If you arrive late, we may be unable to accommodate you. Please arrive early to allow enough time for your reservation.
Restrictions
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
- This activity is not recommended for pregnant women who are under 16 weeks pregnant.
- Women taller than 168cm, men taller than 175cm, or anyone with measurements exceeding 100cm in any key area should email Kimono Rental HANAKA before making a reservation to confirm kimono availability. Email: asakusa.hanaka@gmail.com Support is available in Japanese and English only.
Other notes
- Reservation confirmation (voucher)
- You can arrive at the kimono store empty-handed. However, please bring warm clothing and rain gear yourself in case of bad weather. Please also avoid wearing dark-colored underwear, as it may show through a light-colored yukata or kimono.
