Sagano Romantic Train One-Way Ticket

The Sagano Romantic Train runs along the former San-in Main Line, which was abandoned after the line was double-tracked and electrified. The Art Deco-style train, featuring a red body with golden-yellow and black patterns, travels 7.3 km in approximately 25 minutes from Torokko Saga Station, next to JR Saga-Arashiyama Station, to Torokko Kameoka Station. The route follows the Hozugawa River for almost its entire length, offering beautiful scenery that changes with the seasons. In addition to onboard announcements by the conductor, Sagano Scenic Railway offers a multilingual audio guide service in Japanese, English, Chinese, and Korean, allowing international visitors to enjoy the journey even more.
