About insurance
The basic coverage plan is included in the price, with no additional charges:
Vehicle and third-party property damage coverage: deductible of JPY 200,000
Third-party bodily injury and property damage liability: deductible of JPY 200,000
Non-Operation Charge (NOC) coverage: deductible of JPY 50,000
The following are not included: glass and tires, chassis and vehicle lights, and roadside assistance. If you would like more comprehensive coverage, you can upgrade to a higher insurance plan when making your reservation (additional charges apply).
Important notes for making a reservation
The primary driver must bring a valid driver's license and a Japanese translation (or an International Driving Permit). The actual vehicle provided will depend on the supplier's vehicle allocation on the day of pickup. The representative vehicle models may vary slightly depending on availability, but the grade and class will be equivalent. When picking up the vehicle, please contact the rental office in advance to reserve the shuttle bus.
