A best-selection course touring the Toya and Noboribetsu areas as autumn deepens! When the long winter arrives, Hokkaido's scenery turns into a silvery white world. In late autumn, just before this season approaches, set off on a tour of famous sights in the Toya and Noboribetsu areas! Let's feel the end of the green season and the arrival of winter firsthand! Departing from Sapporo Station, the first place we visit is the rest stop "Michi-no-Eki Boyo Nakayama". Built at the peak of Nakayama Pass, it is also a scenic spot overlooking Mt. Yotei. Furthermore, its specialty is the "Age-imo" (fried potatoes), which sells 300,000 sticks a year. It is a best-seller that has been sold for over 50 years! The next stop is the "Lake Toya Silo Observatory", where you can enjoy lunch and a magnificent panoramic view of the shores of Lake Toya from high ground. For lunch, we have prepared the "Northern Seafood Hot Pot". Packed with plenty of seafood, the special miso soup infused with seafood umami can be savored to the very last drop by adding udon noodles to finish the meal. After finishing lunch, you can take a stroll in the sky by riding the "Mt. Usu Ropeway" and observe the magnificent scenery created by nature from the summit terrace and walking trails. Optionally, you can also visit the "Showa Shinzan Bear Park". How about enjoying watching the bears playing and relaxing, or experiencing feeding them? The final spot that crowns this course is "Noboribetsu Jigokudani" (Hell Valley). It is the remains of a massive explosion crater created by volcanic activity, and the sight of volcanic gas and smoke rising from the rugged rock surface is truly a landscape worthy of being called hell. A variety of hot springs that form the Noboribetsu Hot Spring Resort gush forth from this place, and the volume is 10,000 tons a day! Stroll through the sulfur-scented valley and experience the workings of the earth with all five senses. Sandwiched between a long summer and winter, Hokkaido's autumn passes by in a flash. However, there are many unique sceneries to this season, such as autumn leaves, clear autumn skies, and trees shedding their leaves day by day! Why not set out on a bus journey to feel the atmosphere of such late autumn?
