Hakone Ropeway One-Way / Round-Trip Ticket

Required reading

• •If multiple tickets are purchased in a single transaction, they cannot be used separately and will all be activated at the same time. If you wish to use them individually on different occasions, please make separate purchases.

Open the URL for the usage screen from the voucher again and try again by entering your email address.) 3. Enter the OTP listed in the received email into the ticket screen and press the Confirm button. If you enter it correctly, the usage screen will be displayed. (Once OTP authentication is complete, the OTP will be sent to the email address you set. This email address cannot be changed, so please set an email address that can be confirmed locally on the day of use.)
• •All ropeway tickets allow you to get off at any station along the route.
• •Guests holding this ticket are requested to wait in line when boarding and present the ticket at the gate for inspection.

Restrictions

• •The one-way ticket is valid only for the direction selected at the time of purchase. It can be used from the time of activation until the end of operating hours on the same day.
• •The round-trip ticket includes one one-way ticket for the Sounzan direction and one for the Togendai direction. It can be used on the day of activation and the following day. However, each one-way ticket is valid only until the end of operating hours on the day it is activated.
• •It can be used from the time of activation until the end of operating hours on the same day.

• •Each gondola accommodates up to 18 passengers.
• •The gondolas operate at approximately one-minute intervals.
• •The travel time between each of the four Hakone Ropeway stations is approximately 10 minutes. *Travel time may vary depending on congestion.
• •Operating Hours: ・February to November: 9:00 to 16:45 (Owakudani Station: 9:00 to 17:00) ・December to January: 9:00 to 16:15 (all stations) *Service may be suspended due to bad weather or regular maintenance.
• •The Hakone Ropeway may be suspended without prior notice in the event of strong winds, lightning, approaching typhoons, or other adverse weather conditions.
• •[Notice of Regular Inspection and Maintenance Work] ・The Hakone Ropeway will suspend service on certain sections due to scheduled maintenance, and substitute bus transportation will be provided for those sections. ・Suspended Section: Sounzan Station – Owakudani Station Suspension Period: (1) December 8 (Mon) – December 19 (Fri), 2025 (2) January 13 (Tue) – January 30 (Fri), 2026 (Total of 30 days) The section between Owakudani Station and Togendai Station will operate as usual. ・Suspended Section: Owakudani Station – Ubako Station – Togendai Station Suspension Period: January 31 (Sat) – February 20 (Fri), 2026 (21 days) The section between Sounzan Station and Owakudani Station will operate as usual. Substitute bus service will operate as follows: Bus travel time: Sounzan Station – Owakudani Station: approx. 10 minutes one way Owakudani Station – Ubako Station – Togendai Station: approx. 15 minutes one way *Buses operate approximately every 15 minutes.
